Christmas for the Birds
What better way to start your holiday season then to bring a child to the gardens to do something good for the birds. Each child accompanied by an adult will receive a small live potted evergreen tree to decorate. We will provide the goodies for decorations and help you trim your tree for those hungry feathered friends. Then you can take your tree home and watch the feeding frenzy begin. You can plant your tree in your yard now or we will show you how to winter it over in the pot ! This project is so much nicer if each child has their own tree, but that means each child needs an adult to help as well. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided. Pre-registration is required! (More details)
